Field trip registration generally opens the week before each trip, particularly for smaller trips, to give families an opportunity to register. Trips will be added to CampBrain, and registration instructions will be provided each week.

Some larger trips may open for registration earlier. Families will be notified by email when this happens.

No. Field trips are optional and have an additional cost, which varies depending on the destination.

Field trips are available on a first-come, first-served basis and tend to fill quickly. We do our best to open registration at varying times so every family has an opportunity to participate. Please monitor your email throughout the summer for registration announcements.

Campers who do not participate in a scheduled field trip will remain at The Campus and follow their regular camp schedule.

Our campers' safety and comfort are always a priority! In the event of excessive heat or other unfavorable weather conditions, we have plans in place to adjust activities as needed. Additional water stations will be placed throughout camp to help campers stay hydrated, and indoor spaces will be available for campers to enjoy activities comfortably.

Weather contingency schedules are carefully developed well in advance and will be implemented immediately when conditions require adjustments. This allows us to keep campers safe, engaged, and having fun, regardless of the weather!

Yes. All campers must take a swim test during their first pool session on Monday of each week. Test results are recorded and saved for the summer.

Campers that are 6 years old and older who pass the swim test receive a wristband indicating they may swim without a life jacket. Campers who do not pass, choose not to take the test, or are 5 years old or younger must wear a camp-provided life jacket.

No. Campers are not permitted to bring flotation devices from home. Life jackets are provided by camp when required.

Two certified lifeguards are on duty, along with the pool manager, counselors, and CITs in the pool area. All lifeguards hold current certifications, and all staff are trained in CPR and First Aid.

Yes. All campers who choose to kayak or tube must wear a camp-provided life vest.

A dedicated creek area manager is stationed in the creek area to provide increased supervision and ensure proper safety procedures are followed during activities.
